Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Sell to the Max.
What is Sell to the Max?
AI-powered sales practice. You tell it what you're selling, pick an AI buyer, and run real voice calls right in your browser against an AI that pushes back like a real prospect. Deals run across multiple calls — two or three depending on the buyer — and the buyer remembers every conversation. After each call you get a scored assessment on screen (and a copy by email), with specific feedback on what worked and what didn't.
How is this different from other sales practice tools?
Four things, and no other sales practice combines all of them. One: every call practices your actual deal, not generic scenarios — you type in what you're selling, and the AI buyer is loaded with objections specific to your product. Two: deals span multiple calls (cold → follow-up → close), and the AI buyer remembers everything you said in earlier calls, so inconsistencies get caught the same way real prospects catch them. Three: say “Lifeline” mid-call and a coach steps in while the conversation is still live. Four: every call is scored against the sales framework you pick — SPIN, Sandler, Challenger, MEDDIC and more — with a written note per category and one specific thing to change next time.
Will the AI actually feel like a real buyer?
Try it and find out — a free deal arc takes about 10 minutes a call, no card required. The AI buyer interrupts, pushes back, asks tough questions, and remembers prior calls. Most people's reaction after their first call isn't "that felt fake," it's "that felt uncomfortably real."
Who is this for?
Built by a former corporate training director for sales leaders who need their team comfortable, confident, and genuinely skilled in real sales conversations. If your reps only get better by actually talking to buyers — and you can't afford to let them learn on your real pipeline — this is the practice I wished existed.
Can I practice just one call instead of a whole deal?
Yes. Build your own buyer and it runs as a single prep call — for rehearsing a specific conversation you have coming up. You choose whether it's a cold call, a follow-up or a closing call. Built-in buyers are worked as multi-call deals instead, because that's where the memory matters.
How many calls is a deal?
It depends on the buyer, and you don't have to decide. B2C buyers — a homeowner, a car buyer — run a 2-call deal, because that's how those close in real life. SMB and Enterprise buyers run three. The buyer remembers every previous call either way.
What does it cost?
Practice a full deal arc free — no card, just an email. After that it's $29/month for an individual: that's the Founder rate, and it stays locked for as long as your subscription stays active (the regular rate is $49). For a team it's $59 per seat per month — also a Founder rate, also locked while you stay subscribed — with a 2–10 seat minimum. A seat is one person with a login, and the manager's seat counts.
How do team seats work?
A seat is one person with a login, and the manager occupies a paid seat — so three reps plus you is four seats. Every seat gets everything in the individual plan, and you get a manager dashboard: who's practising, how each rep is scoring, and who's stalled. You assign the practice and it happens without you having to run roleplays yourself. Team accounts are set up by hand at the moment — there's no self-serve team signup yet, so book 15 minutes with me and I'll get you started. Full details at selltothemax.ai/teams.
